While I was putting this piece together, my husband said - "Something about it reminds me of Yakshagana". It truly did and was purely coincidental. I wasn't thinking about it while creating this piece but the outcome does in the slightest way remind us of the head gear or "kiritha" of the glorious traditional folk dance called Yakshagana.
